SoEI New York is a not-for-profit professional association and an affiliate of the Society of Emotional Intelligence (SoEI). The Greater New York chapter welcomes practitioners, researchers, consultants, professionals, educators and students with an interest in Emotional Intelligence. SoEI-NY is dedicated to increasing the effectiveness of individuals and organizations through the awareness, training and development of emotional intelligence. The organization serves its membership by providing the latest developments and resources related to the field of EI; professional development and networking opportunities; and the opportunity to join a community that supports personal and professional learning, development, growth and excellence.
SoEI New York is an autonomous organization. While the Society offers products and services such as seminars, workshops and certification programs, we are not affiliated with any particular emotional intelligence model, branded assessment, or training tool.
Rather, we respect that the field of emotional intelligence is constantly evolving, and welcome contribution from EI practitioners, academics and researchers from numerous environments. We seek to offer well-rounded programming that encompasses the many reputable models and approaches to EI.
